Dell had come a long way from being the “Dude, you got a Dell” cheap laptop company, and transformed into a serious technology company. As Michael Dell said, “Technology has the ability to move humanity forward.” Let’s show that.

I WILL ALWAYS BE ME

Stuart Moss lost his father to MND/ALS on Christmas day. His dad had never banked his voice before losing it. So we partnered with Stuart (Head of Innovation at Rolls Royce), Intel, Dell, and Speak Unique to ensure more people banked their voices forever. The think tank managed to make the process much easier, and then we added the human insight that brought it all together. People didn’t know how to talk to their families about the disease. So we wrote a book that explained it, and in the text of that book was every sound you needed to bank your voice.

Unseen Ballet

It started as a typical ‘customer story’ type spot, featuring different innovations that Dell created with their partners. One of those, eSight, helped the legally blind see better. So we chose people in Dell’s hometown of Austin, fitted them with the glasses, and introduced them to a visual holiday extravaganza, documenting the whole thing. And yes, we let them keep the glasses.

THE GIVING BOT

For the holidays, Dell wanted one spot that appealed to enterprise companies, medium businesses, small businesses and consumers. It had to feature their ai capabilities, partnerships, and be heartwarming.

I think we did it.
